Ford has halted F-150 production at Kansas City and is considering a shutdown in Dearborn after supplier Meridian Magnesium Products caught fire.
The total fine amount was $31,000.
Ford plans to slap an electric motor or two in the light-duty F-150 pickup by 2020.
Ford’s Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan caught fire Thursday evening, although no major damages were reported.
