The new, 2017 Lincoln MKZ is an IIHS “Top Safety Pick+,” owing to a solid crash structure and improved safety tech.
The refreshed Ford Escape is “Acceptable” in a small-overlap frontal collision, says the IIHS. It sure ain’t driving away from one, though.
Good crash-test performance, plus a bevy of active safety features, make the new Ford Fusion an IIHS “Top Safety Pick+.”
