Ford and Lincoln dealers in Canada delivered 28,215 new vehicles during the month of September 2015.
The results represent best month of September on record at Ford Canada for both Ford F-Series and overall sales, and growth of one percent and four percent, respectively. Lincoln sales grew 47 percent, marking the best September since 2010.
“We had a tremendous close to the third quarter with Ford Employee Pricing driving the best month of September on record for both F-Series and overall sales,” said Dianne Craig, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “We are proud to see positive consumer reaction to our vehicle lineup and we remain focused on delivering high quality, innovative products with a superb customer experience.”
September 2015 sales highlights (vs. September 2014, unless otherwise noted):
- Focus was up 12 percent
- Mustang was up 45 percent for its seventh consecutive monthly increase
- F-Series was up one percent for its best September on record
- Edge was up 11 percent
- Explorer was up 29 percent
- Ford CUV + SUV sales were up 5 percent
- Lincoln sales were up 47 percent, its best September since 2010
“Lincoln continues to reinvent itself and delight our customers,” said Craig. “Consumers have responded to the new Lincoln lineup by making this the best month of September since 2010.”
