If you’re looking for a job in the automotive sector in North America, you could do a whole lot worse than Ford Motor Company; professional social networking site LinkedIn just rated the automaker No. 65 on its list of the “Top 100 Most InDemand Employers” for 2015. This is the first time that Ford Motor Company has been recognized by the annual list.

To compile a list of the most highly-sought employers in North America, LinkedIn relies on a unique survey methodology, rather than questionnaires. The companies are selected based on users’ interactions with employers, employee profiles, job listings, and the like. Ford Motor Company is one of just two automakers to make the Top 100 list this year, the other being California’s Tesla Motors (ranked No. 7).

The fact that Ford Motor Company has been listed as an “InDemand” employer by LinkedIn reflects the automaker’s level of attractiveness to those searching for employment in North America. Ford Motor Company also happens to be one of the larger companies recognized, with somewhere around 80,000 employees.
