MRT Is Bringing A 2015 Ford F-150 With A Stick To SEMA

With this year’s SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show right around the corner, we’ve been taking an in-depth look at what will be making its way there from the Blue Oval. This includes a charismatic handful of unique Ford Edge Sport and Ford Explorer Sport crossover builds from various aftermarket companies.

But of course, crossovers don’t get to have all the fun; concepts built from the 2015 Ford F-150 will also be making their way to the show this November, with arguably the best of these coming from brand MRT. They’ve put together the 2015 Ford F-150 concept shown above which, among other things, has been fitted with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. Needless to say, Ford’s best-selling light duty pickup ships exclusively with an automatic.

According to Automobile Magazine, MRT also graced their 2015 Ford F-150 with increased performance by fitting the engine with plenty of aftermarket parts and a new ECU tune, plus big Wilwood performance brakes, air suspension, racing buckets with 5-point safety harnesses, and a roll cage. This is one 2015 Ford F-150 that we absolutely can’t wait to see in person.

Stay tuned for the latest Ford/SEMA news as it develops.
