Rally Innovations’ Race-Inspired SEMA Ford Focus ST

As the Ice Nine Group’s Mustang EcoBoost concept is to Ford’s venerable pony car, so the Rally Innovations Ford Focus ST concept is to the Blue Oval’s popular hot-hatch.

That is to say: visibly race-inspired, inside and out.

Perhaps the biggest feature of note on this speedy-looking Ford Focus ST concept is the look. Rally Innovations fitted the FWD hot-hatch with its own “Gundam-style” parts, like the vented hood, rear spoiler, widened fender flares, side moldings, and vinyl graphic scheme. Baja Designs provided the 20-inch LED stealth bar and wide LED cornering lights, while the 3-piece front-splitter, side splitters, wheel diverters, and light plates are also Rally Innovations’ own homebrew parts.

Inside, Rally Innovations has fitted their 2015 Ford Focus ST with a custom, 4-point roll cage, Cusco racing seats and 4-point harnesses, and has deleted the rear seats. The powertrain has been seen to as well, as it boasts an Airinx intake system, Supreme SP exhaust, and an aluminum intercooler and piping kit, all from Greddy. The engine has been tuned via Cobb Tuning‘s Accessport V3. Chassis enhancements include an RS-R Sports-i coilover suspension kit, Cobb Tuning adjustable shift plate, and rotors and pads from R1 Concepts.

Rally Innovations’ mean-looking, race-ready 2015 Ford Focus ST will be appearing alongside a slew of other Ford hot-hatches at this year’s SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for the latest as it develops.
