Ford Brand Trailers, Toy-Haulers, And Campers Inbound From Livin Lite

Ford Motor Company has become the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to offer a full line of trailers, toy haulers, and campers, licensing the Ford brand to Thor Industries subsidiary Livin’ Lite.

Ford designers worked hand-in-hand with those from Livin’ Lite in order to imbue the Ford brand travel accessories with Ford’s characteristic design language.

Livin’ Lite is an Indiana-based manufacturer of recreational vehicles, trailers, and other lifestyle travel accessories. The company makes a point of incorporating strong, lightweight aluminum alloy into many of its products – a perfect compliment to the Ford F-150’s own lightweight aluminum body.

Says Ford Licensing Manager Mark Bentley: “Exploring America is in our customers’ DNA and recreational vehicles are part of Ford’s history, so these new camping options are great for our adventurous customers. Ford is an industry leader in towing technology, so it was only natural for Ford to license its name and designs in this industry.”

Ford brand slide-in truck campers are available for 6-foot and 8-foot pickup beds, with travel trailers and toy-haulers being either 22 or 24 feet in length. More Ford brand products from Livin’ Lite are planned.
