Trying to spruce up the ordinary, pedestrian passenger vehicle is often a difficult task, but Ford of Europe may be onto something with its new “Color Edition” Ford B-MAX MPV.

Announced late last month, orders for the stylish new Ford B-MAX Color Edition are now open, with 10 different exterior colors to choose from (B-MAX White Edition shown above). A contrasting black roof, black mirror housings, skid plates, and a gloss black grille, in addition to optional black alloy wheels and a body-color rear spoiler, inject some instant style into the ordinary, Fiesta-based Ford B-MAX minivan.

“The new B-MAX Colour Edition shows that style and practicality really can go hand-in-hand,” said Ford Europe VP of Marketing, Sales & Service Roelant de Waard. “Head-turning design and sophisticated features like SYNC voice-activated connectivity and the Ford Easy Access Door System make the B-MAX one of the most advanced and innovative small cars in Europe.”

Inside, an optional upgrade adds contrasting Cognac brown stitching to the seats, steering wheel, shifter boot, and floor mats. A 5-inch color infotainment display with satellite navigation is also available. For now, engine choices are limited to either a 1.4-liter or a 1.6-liter unit, with a 140 horsepower 1.0-liter EcoBoost powerplant to become available starting this spring.
