Annual ‘Team Shelby Bash’ To Honor The Ford GT40, Shelby GT350-H Mustang

This year marks the ninth consecutive year for the annual “Team Shelby Bash” in Las Vegas, Nevada, celebrating the rich history of one of the most iconic names in motorsport. The focuses of this year’s bash will be the 1966 victory of the Ford GT40 at Le Mans, and the limited Shelby GT350-H Mustang model.

As website Classic Cars reports, this year marks the 50th anniversary of each of these, making their celebration at the 2016 Team Shelby Bash quite appropriate. The Bash is scheduled to take place from March 3rd through the 6th, featuring hot-laps at Spring Mountain Ranch, parties at the official Shelby American headquarters, cruises, tours, etc.

Said Team Shelby National Director Tracey Smith: “Each year, we find new ways to give Team Shelby club members an action-packed weekend of motoring excitement. Our 2016 event will offer many opportunities for people to really enjoy their Shelbys, experience some of the world’s greatest performance cars and connect with fellow enthusiasts.”

The 2016 Team Shelby Bash is open to all fans; tickets can be purchased at the Shelby Store website.
