Ford F-150 Rescues Double-Decker Bus From The Snow: Video

Another day; another good Samaritan truck owner using his wheels for the greater good, helping a stuck vehicle get back on course despite the forces of nature.

The video above shows a Ford F-150 in Ottawa summoning all its might to pull a double-decker bus through the snow. The Ford F-150’s owner, one Brandon Saikaley, uploaded the clip to YouTube, clarifying that his truck is powered by the range-topping 5.0-liter V8, and that the bus was stuck in more than 50 centimeters of snow.

According to website Art of Gears, the bus being helped along here is an Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 model, weighing an immense 7 tons or so. For that reason, we can’t recommend that the average Ford F-150 owner go and try to replicate the feat depicted here. It is nevertheless an impressive display of the full-size truck’s capability, and Mr. Saikaley deserves a round of applause for looking out for the commuters of Ottawa.
