This year, the Ford Motor Company Fund is proud to partner with the Alliance for Women in Media (AWM) and its Foundation. Ford Motor Company will be the official automobile sponsor for this year’s Gracie Awards Gala, scheduled for May 24th.

The annual Gracie Awards are named for late radio and television star Gracie Allen. Every year, the ceremony celebrates the contributions of women working in the media industry, as well as programming made for, by, and about women. The Gracie Awards are presented by the AWM Foundation – a professional association established in 1951 in order to advance women in media and entertainment.

“The Alliance for Women in Media and its Foundation are proud of the strong partnership we have with Ford Motor Company Fund,” said Kristen Welch, AWMF Chair, Senior Vice President of Global Content Operations at Discovery Communications. “For years, Ford has stood with AWM and its members to support, encourage and promote women in the media industry at every level and we are proud to continue that tradition of excellence.”
