SEMA 2016 Ford Focus RS Measuring Session Coming Up

Any and all SEMA members are invited out to Diamond Bar, California near Los Angeles for an exclusive “measuring session” with the new 2016 Ford Focus RS on March 2nd and 3rd. Admission is free, although with those dates fast approaching, it might be best to RSVP sooner rather than later.

The SEMA Garage hosts a handful of these measuring sessions every year in order to grant member companies a chance to take precise measurements for aftermarket part design. The Ford Focus RS measuring sessions follow immediately after those for the 2017 Audi R8, with “modest disassembly and photography” permitted.

We anticipate that the 2016 Ford Focus RS will have a strong presence at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, owing to the fact that this is the first year the legendary hot-hatch will be made available to the US market. Its less-potent brother – the Ford Focus ST – has already proven a tremendously popular car to build for the show, but it will undoubtedly take a back seat to the more-powerful, all-wheel drive Ford Focus RS.

SEMA members interested in attending the 2016 Ford Focus RS measuring session on March 2nd or the 3rd can RSVP on website Eventbrite.
