‘Project: RoushFox’ Is A Supercharged, Coyote-Powered Fox Body Mustang: Video

Welcome to Roush Performance’s latest custom build project: a supercharged, Coyote V8-powered Fox body Mustang known as “Project: RoushFox.”

The car isn’t finished yet, but when it is, Roush will have a retro-styled Mustang drag racer fit for duty in the NMRA. Helping Roush to complete the car is Brenspeed Mustang – a Ford performance parts supplier and installer based in Indiana.

Project: RoushFox uses a 1992 Ford Mustang as its base, powered by the contemporary pony car’s 5.0-liter V8, blown by a Roush TVS supercharger. The car is mostly complete, rolling on a set of JMS racing wheels with sticky Mickey Thompson rubber, and featuring a high-performance rear end from Strange Engineering – one of the most trusted names in the world of drag racing.

More videos documenting this Fox body Mustang’s completion are soon to come, so stay tuned.
