The Life Of A Composite Engineer At Roush Industries: Video

Talk to any Ford Mustang fan in-the-know, and they’ll of course recognize the name Roush as a leader in providing aftermarket go-fast bits for the celebrated pony car.

What they mightn’t necessarily know about is everything else that Roush Industries does, the Performance Engineering division being just one sliver of a more broadly-focused company. According to their website, Roush Industries does everything from engineering to testing and development, to prototyping, to manufacturing, for a number of different industries including aerospace, defense, and entertainment. It’s that breadth of capabilities, and the capacity to be involved at every stage of a project, that perhaps sets Roush apart.

That’s one thing that Alexandra Vial appreciates about Roush Industries. Ms. Vial is a Composite Engineer with the company who was drawn to the scope and variety of different projects on which she’s able to work there; she tells all about it in the video interview above.

“Roush is kind of like a one-stop shop for everything,” she says. “What really puts us apart from other composite-manufacturing companies is that we can help with the design, the development, and the engineering of the composites – not just the manufacturing.”
