Video Compares Borla Exhaust Kits For Ford F-150 EcoBoost

If you’ve been toying with the idea of upgrading your EcoBoost-powered 2015 or 2016 Ford F-150’s tame, stock exhaust with something a bit more loud and aggressive, the video above might be of interest to you. In it, Borla Exhaust compares the sounds of each one of its cat-back exhaust kits on the Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost in a variety of different situations.

Don’t thank us; thank Borla.

Every Borla cat-back exhaust kit available for the latest Ford F-150 EcoBoost model – from the subtle “Touring” flavor, to the mid-range “S-Type,” to the snarling “Atak” kit – has been tested and recorded for customer reference. The range of clips in this video includes startup, free-revs, acceleration, and cruising, from different vantage points, including within the cabin. The video should leave no doubt as to whether any one of these cat-back exhaust kits introduces too much noise for customers, whether inside or outside of the truck.

Each of these kits has an MSRP of just $1,230.99, and each is available in either a split-rear-exit or side-exit configuration. They’re all universal between the 2.7-liter and 3.5-liter EcoBoost Ford F-150 engines, and even the 5.0-liter V8, although different engine will obviously produce different exhaust notes.
