Posted for sale on Hemmings out of Marco Island, Florida, this unbelievable 1934 Ford “Panther” coupe is a one-of-a-kind street rod with stunning looks, 24 cylinders, and a keen attention to detail.
Yes, you read that right: 24 cylinders. This custom-built 1934 Ford boasts three Chevy 350 V8s all pumping together, although the seller notes that only the front and rear engines actually produce power; the middle engine works as part of the cooling system.
Needless to say, the frame and body are both custom-made to suit this build, with burgandy-painted fiberglass body panels and an aluminum hood complimented by plenty of polished stainless steel pieces. Much of the interior is wrapped in red leather, with a simple, elegant dash hosting classic-looking analog gauges framed by gold-colored bezels.
This 1934 Ford “Panther” street rod is being sold at $149,000 by a private seller, although the price is negotiable. We would be utterly shocked if that sum came close to covering the expense of building it. It’s listed in “excellent” condition, with just 300 miles on the clock.
