Borla Exhaust Announces New ‘CrateMufflers’ For Crate And Custom Motors

Borla Exhaust – one of the leading names in performance exhaust systems – has come along with a new range of “CrateMufflers” for crate and custom-built engines from the Big Three.

Borla CrateMufflers aren’t universal. Instead, the company claims that they are the first performance mufflers in the world built specially to maximize the sound and power of specific crate and custom small block and big block motors. For us Ford fans, applications include 289, 302 (like the Coyote 5.0L), and FE (Ford-Edsel) V8s.

Borla CrateMufflers can be ordered in one of three different sound levels: Touring, S-Type, and Atak. They feature a racing-inspired straight-through design for optimized flow, and feature precise craftsmanship and a one-million mile warranty.

Ready to hear what these new Borla CrateMufflers sound like? Check out the video above, where you’ll hear how they sound on a Chrysler 440 big block, a Chevy 383 small block, and Ford’s lauded Coyote 302.
