Ford Motor Company’s joint venture with its franchise dealers, FordDirect, has named industry veteran Mike Jurecki its new Chief Executive Officer. He will take over from Valerie Fuller, FordDirect’s Chief Operating Officer and interim CEO, starting June 6th. Ms. Fuller will stay on as COO.
FordDirect is a unique joint venture committed to providing “digital marketing and advertising solutions” to certified Ford and Lincoln dealers. For instance, the company is responsible for the usual online shopping tools you’re likely to encounter when searching for a Ford vehicle, including the standard online vehicle configurator, dealer inventory search, incentives and offers, and local price quote request features.
Mike Jurecki has extensive experience working with OEMs and dealers alike; since 2002, he’s served as CEO of RouteOne, which provides web-based credit application software. Before that, he worked for Ford Credit for more than two decades, including a stint in the United Kingdom as general manager of Ford UK’s Customer Service Center, and manager of World Wide Trade Financing.
“We’re excited to welcome Mike to FordDirect,” said FordDirect Chairman of the Board Bill Keith. “The board is confident his expertise and strategic vision will help FordDirect continue to innovate, grow and meet our goal of helping Ford and Lincoln dealers sell and service more cars and trucks.”
