Thanks to the good folks over at Dream Giveaway, one lucky soul in the US or Canada this year will win two Shelby GT350 Mustangs – one 1967 original, and one modern 2016 example – in what has to be one of the most awesome raffles ever devised.

Dream Giveaway is a brand that raises money for a number of different charitable organizations, including Disabled American Veterans, Smile Network International, and the Detroit Rescue Mission. Suffice it to say that should you choose to purchase an entry to this double-Shelby GT350 giveaway, your money will go toward a good cause.

The classic 1967 Shelby GT350 Mustang being given away in this drawing is a stunning, fully-restored example in Candy Apple Red with a black interior. Its 289 cubic-inch V8 sends some 306 horsepower through a four-speed manual transmission, and a limited-slip 3.89:1 rear differential. Just 1,175 original Shelby GT350 Mustangs were ever built, and this example has been autographed by the legendary car-builder himself: Mr. Carroll Shelby.

Also included is a thoroughbred performance machine from this century: a 2016 Ford Shelby GT350. It wears a coat of Race Red paint with a black interior, although that’s about where it’s similarities to the classic car end; its 5.2-liter Voodoo V8 produces 526 horsepower, channeling through a 6-speed manual and a 3.73:1 Torsen differential. The engine is, of course, Ford’s oft-discussed flat-plane crank Voodoo V8, made special for this modern classic with a spine-tingling 8,250 RPM redline.
