An online configurator for the all-new 2017 Ford Super Duty line of trucks is now live. The Fast Lane Truck reported that the configurator had “leaked” online, but it’s accessible through the “Build & Price” link on the official Ford Super Duty website, so… we’re not sure we’d quite settle on the same word.
Granted, TFLTruck has a point; this Ford Super Duty configurator doesn’t seem fully-baked yet. Wherever Payload and Max Towing capacities for each truck are listed, the former is shown to be 14,500 lbs, and the latter is 31,200 lbs. The numbers don’t change, even when the engine selection is changed, and as TFLTruck notes, the Payload rating is nearly twice that of a comparable 2016 Ford Super Duty.
It’s safe to assume that the stated Payload and Max Towing numbers are wrong, then. Nonetheless, we now have a complete, working guide to options and pricing for the new, 2017 Ford Super Duty, with every iteration of the F-250, F-350, and F-450 heavy duty trucks fully configurable. Starting prices range from $32,535 for a basic Ford F-250 XL, to $77,125 for an F-450 Platinum, with the latter reaching over $88,000 with options.
