How To Watch The Ford GT Compete At Le Mans Later This Month

This weekend’s IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race at the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix came and went with a glaring omission: the entire GT Le Mans (GTLM) field, including the Ford GT.

That’s because this weekend is Test Day for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which takes place from the 18th to the 19th of June. Four Ford GT entrants will participate in the world-famous racing event, hoping to relive the glory of the GT40’s historic 1966 win over Ferrari – at least to some extent.

Ford Performance is calling any and all Ford GT fans to tune-in for its own, brand-specific live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will include footage both from onboard each of the four GTE-spec Ford GT race cars and inside the garage. If you’re interested – and you should be – tune in to fordperformance.tv on Saturday, June 18th for the race. The green flag is scheduled for 9am.
