Lincoln Motor Company continues its march toward a prominent place in the US luxury vehicle market, having just announced plans to offer standard pickup and delivery across its entire 2017 lineup, starting with the all-new Lincoln Continental.
“Lincoln Pickup and Delivery service revolves around complementing our luxury vehicles with outstanding luxury experiences,” says Lincoln’s North American Director of Sales and Services, Andrew Frick. “This kind of Quiet Luxury provides an exclusive and personally crafted service experience that enhances their lifestyle and saves them what is a true luxury item – their time.”
In essence, any time the owner of a 2017 or later Lincoln vehicle requires service for their car or SUV, they can arrange for a Lincoln Valet to come and collect the car from an agreed-upon location. A complimentary loaner car will be provided for the duration of the Lincoln vehicle’s dealership stay, and when servicing is complete, the customer can arrange to have the vehicle delivered back to them.
Since May, 2015, Ford’s luxury division has been piloting their pickup and delivery program at select dealerships around the country, revealing overwhelming interest from owners. When surveyed, 98 percent of participants said that they would be more likely to receive service from that dealer in the future, and the same percentage said they would recommend the brand and its pickup/delivery service to a friend. Some 93 percent said they were likely to purchase another Lincoln vehicle.
“Our dealers view this as a way to differentiate the client experience for Lincoln owners,” says Andrew Frick. “No matter what Lincoln vehicle clients have from our portfolio, they have the peace of mind of getting that vehicle to and from service at a location of their choice, with a complimentary Lincoln loaner in order to maintain their busy schedules.
“When nearly 100 percent of clients receiving this service say they would recommend Lincoln to a friend, it clearly indicates positive momentum for the brand and our dealers.”
