2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Spotted In Production Guise: Video

Last week, The Fast Lane Truck posted video purporting to show a 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor in production guise cruising along the local motorways, and as far as we can tell, the clip is legitimate.

This particular truck is a Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew in what looks like Liquid Blue; a SuperCab body-style truck will also be available. We spend most of our time in this video looking at the Raptor’s derrière, but that’s where the plate and the stickers are anyway. We can’t quite make out the text ourselves, but according to TFLtruck, the truck is wearing a Michigan license plate and bears a sticker on the back window reading “2017.5 TT.” The letters “TT” might stand for “Tool Test,” which is an early build stage.

A second sticker on the rear reads “Prototype No. 11,” which means there are at least 10 more of these running around.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is slated to launch this fall, with off-road performance guaranteed by a second-generation, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and a new 10-speed automatic transmission. Production will likely start well before the end of summer.
