25th Anniversary Hennessey HPE800 Mustang Lands On eBay

An example of the 25th Anniversary Edition of Hennessey’s 804-horsepower take on the 2016 Ford Mustang has landed on internet auction site eBay, wearing a princely $105,000 price tag.

The car has a black exterior with special, gray “25 Years” graphics on both front fenders. Dubbed the “HPE800” by tuning firm Hennessey Performance Engineering, the Mustang was created to celebrate the brand’s 25th birthday, and it derives its power from a 2.9-liter supercharger and the Ford Mustang GT’s factory 5.0-liter Coyote V8.

In addition to the colossal 369-horsepower bump and the requisite fuel and intake upgrades, Hennessey’s 25th Anniversary HPE800 features an in-house engine calibration; a CarbonAero front splitter, rear spoiler, and side sills; a Hennessey/KW Variant 3 lowered suspension kit; a Brembo front-brake upgrade with 15-inch rotors; lightweight Hennessey H10 wheels (20 inches); and badges, plaques, and graphics aplenty. The car also ships with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty, giving the owner peace-of-mind in case anything should go wrong within that timeframe.

Just 25 examples of the Hennessey 25th Anniversary HPE800 will be built, making the super-Stang as rare and collectible as it is potent. For more photos and info, you can stop by the original eBay listing for the car.
