Ford’s NASCAR Racing Drivers Visit The Automaker’s World Headquarters: Video

Some of Ford’s top NASCAR racing drivers just paid a visit to the Ford World Headquarters to meet with employees and experience firsthand some of the latest Ford products and technologies.

According to Ford Performance Global Director Dave Pericak, the event was held for the benefit of both Ford’s drivers and employees alike. “The drivers get to see who they’re racing for,” he explains. “They get to meet the people that are cheering them on every weekend. I know it means a lot to them. And to the employees… They understand [why we race], I think, but when it’s real – when you can actually talk to the guy that’s driving that Ford Fusion for you every weekend – it makes a big difference. It gives them a sense of pride.”
