Two Ford GT Development Mules Spotted Around Colorado: Video

With only 250 examples on their way for each year of production, the 2017 Ford GT supercar will be a very rare sight on the road after it starts shipping out to well-heeled buyers later this year.

But don’t let the lack of firsthand empirical evidence fool you; the new Ford GT is real. Very real. And just like one might back up their alien UFO claims with seemingly-supernatural video recordings, we’re going to prove that the Ford GT is an actual product being developed for actual people to actually buy with some spooky footage of our own.

The video above, uploaded to YouTube earlier this week, shows a pair of Ford GT development mules taking off for the open road. Both are shod in a sort of dull olive drab, and despite having eight wheels between them, they look like they might as well be a couple of F/A-18 Hornets. According to the uploader, the clip was taken around Sargents, Colorado – a picturesque, unincorporated community smack-dab in the middle of a collection of national forests.

Sounds like the perfect place to test a prototype supercar away from prying eyes, no? Check it out.
