If you’d feared that all the fun Ford events nationwide would end as soon as October came along, you were mistaken; according to the folks at Ford Performance, there’s still plenty happening over the coming weeks, although much of it is planned for the warm environs of the South.
On Saturday, October 8th, the Mustang Club of Houston is sponsoring its annual “Fall Ford-Powered Car Show” at Bear Creek Park in Houston, Texas. That same day is also the “Mustang and All-Ford FordFest” at Collins Ford in Louisville, Kentucky, put on by the Derby City Mustang Club, as well as the Savannah Mustang Club’s “27th Annual Mustang & Classic Ford Show” at the Savannah Mall in Georgia.
Still more will be happening on October 8th, like the Tara Mustang Club’s “11th Annual Mustang and All-Ford Show” at Summit Racing Equipment in McDonough, Georgia, and the Southeastern North Carolina Mustang Club’s “18th Annual All-Ford Car and Truck Show” in Wilmington, North Carolina. Finally, also occurring that Saturday will be “Rock & Pony Car Show” hosted by the Mid-Florida Mustang Club in Oviedo, Florida, while “Mustangs at the M1 Concourse” will be taking place at the new M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan.
If you’ve already got plans that day, then Sunday, October 9th will be a couple more events for Ford fans up north. Ford Performance will be present at the “6th Annual New York AutoFest Hicksville, FD Car Show” in Hicksville, New York, before hosting a Meet & Greet and “Mustang, By Design” presentation at Ramp Ford in nearby Port Jefferson Station, New York.
Better plan on enjoying as many fun Ford events as you can before winter arrives and puts everything on ice.
