Air Design Prepares A Serious-Looking Ford F-250 Concept: SEMA 2016

Making its way to the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas (November 1st through the 4th) is a gaggle of excellent, custom Ford pickup trucks which includes this: a ready-for-action, 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty by Air Design USA.

Built on an all-new Ford F-250 Lariat SuperCrew with a 6.2-liter V8 and TorqShift-G 6-speed automatic trans, Air Design’s bespoke SEMA build boasts a ReadyLIFT Suspension 3.5-inch leveling kit and I-beam drops, resulting in a higher-than-stock ride height. Bilstein dampers keep the truck’s 22-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels and Gripper M/T tires planted.

Aesthetically, Air Design’s Ford F-250 is aided by a polished stainless dual exhaust from Gibson with black, ceramic-coated tips, BASF white and black paint, and an electric Pace Edwards bedlocker tonneau cover. Numerous parts from Air Design’s catalogue adorn the exterior, too, including the black fender flares, tailgate spoiler, rear appliqué, hood scoop, LED roof pods, and front bumper guard with integrated daytime-running lights. Custom black-and-white leather seats, a Kicker subwoofer, and Sundial Window Tinting elevate the experience inside the cockpit.

Air Design’s custom Ford F-250 Super Duty goes on display tomorrow at the 2016 SEMA Show. Check back here for more news from the event.
