Hagerty Is Building A Ford Model A LIVE On YouTube: Video

As we write this, Hagerty is building a 1930 Ford Model A at the AACA Fall Hershey Swap Meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Hagerty is streaming video of the build live on YouTube, and you can watch it right here.

If all goes according to plan, Hagerty will finish the classic Ford Model A today, using only parts found on the Swap Meet grounds, and then drive the car 750 miles to Traverse City, Michigan. The team of four mechanics responsible for the build have given themselves a total of about 100 hours total, starting earlier in the week.

The AACA – or Antique Automobile Club of America – has been around since 1935, making Hagerty’s Ford Model A too “new” to have warranted any interest in its early days. The club’s Fall Hershey Swap Meet is held annually, and features five days of flea markets, car corrals, old movie screenings, and more.

Be sure to check out Hagerty’s live-stream Ford Model A build above. There are likely just a few hours to go.
