H&R Springs Builds A Full-On Focus RS Rally Car: SEMA 2016

Next month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas will play host to a smattering of awesome, unique custom builds based on members of Ford’s lauded hot-hatch lineup, including this: a rally-inspired, 2016 Ford Focus RS concept devised by H&R Special Springs.

The folks at H&R appear to have left the 2.3-liter, 350-horsepower EcoBoost I4 in their Focus RS alone, concentrating instead on fitting the hot hatch with a custom H&R RSS Performance coilover suspension kit and in-house Trak+ wheel spacers. The sporty-looking 18-inch wheels come from O.Z. Racing, and they wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber.

Outside of that, the H&R Special Springs Ford Focus RS truly sets itself apart with some eye-catching exterior add-ons and race-inspired graphics. A Ford European RS rear diffuser and European hood vents lend the hatchback some additional sporting credibility, as do the front splitter and side skirts, both of which were sourced from Triple R Composites. An authentic-looking racing livery from Stanceworks goes a step further in solidifying the Focus RS’ motorsport-ready appearance.

This H&R Special Springs Ford Focus RS concept will be on display at the 2016 SEMA Show, which runs from November 1st through the 4th. Stay tuned for the latest news from that event.
