The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show is fast-approaching, and myriad different aftermarket firms have started showing off images of whatever wild and crazy builds they’ve concocted this year.
Our first Ford-based vehicle, a 2016 Ford F-150 SuperCrew from Hulst Customs dubbed “EraThr3,” is pictured above.
The EraThr3 Ford F-150 is powered by a factory 5.0-liter Coyote V8, although that engine is the beneficiary of a Whipple supercharger that boosts peak output to 750 horsepower. A CGS Performance cat-back exhaust system with custom dual tips helps it expel spent gases more efficiently.
That’s fine and well, but the real headline with regard to this truck is perhaps the Hulst Customs 4-link rear suspension, which gives the EraThr3 Ford F-150 true independent rear-wheel movement. The whole truck is sprung by a Hulst Customs air suspension kit, with Aire Jax Four Play manual valves. Massive, 26-inch Lexani “Monza” wheels sit at all four corners.
Aesthetically, the Hulst Customs EraThr3 Ford F-150 is aided by parts from the firm’s Striker Trucks Performance Products catalog, including front and rear bumper covers, a grille, heat-extraction vents, carbon splitter, rocker panels, and fender badges. Inside, Hulst’s penchant for style continues with a Zkintech series interior from Katzkin Automotive Leather, plus a Ford-licensed Console Vault vehicle safe, Kicker subwoofer, and Lumen tablet headrest cradles.
Hulst Customs’ EraThr3 Ford F-150 will be at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 1st through the 4th. Stay tuned as we look at plenty more custom Ford SEMA concepts.
