Legacy Innovations’ Snazzy Ford Fusion Sport Concept: SEMA 2016

In contention for “Best-Dressed Sedan of the Year” for 2016, the new Ford Fusion Sport concept shown above is making its way to this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas care of Legacy Innovations.

(To our knowledge, “Best-Dressed Sedan of the Year” is not a real award. We believe we made it up. -Ed.)

This custom-built Ford Fusion Sport SEMA car seems to care little about chasing after lofty performance figures. A K&N cold-air intake and Magnaflow exhaust are the only notable modifications to the powertrain, although Baer brakes and BC Racing coilovers ought to help in the stopping and handling departments.

Instead, this car’s foremost concern is style, and on that front, it delivers. Bronze-colored Forgestar wheels, 20 inches in diameter, sit at all four corners, while the body of the sporty sedan has been shod in a deep, saturated blue from BASF. The Fusion Sport wears a revised lip kit and rear fascia from Extreme Dimensions, while other subtle, unspecified body components come from Driven by Style. Legacy Innovations’ own side-skirt lips and carbon-fiber with intake snout complete the fashionable exterior.

This Legacy Innovations 2017 Ford Fusion Sport concept will go on display at the 2016 SEMA Show, which is scheduled for November 1st through the 4th. Stay tuned for more news from the event.
