Six Hot New Ford Mustang Concepts Head To SEMA 2016: Video

No fewer than six new, Ford-supported Mustang concepts are set to debut at the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas next month, November 1st through the 4th, and you can get a sneak peek right here.

Of the six, three are based on the 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost, originating at firms Stitchcraft Interiors, MRT, and CJ Pony Parts. Another two, from Speedkore Performance Group and VMP Performance, are built on the 2017 Ford Mustang GT, and an especially sultry Shelby GT350 recreation from Revology Cars.

In addition to these factory-supported Ford Mustang concepts, we know that the renowned Ringbrothers are set to pull the wraps off of a 1965 Mustang widebody convertible that they’ve dubbed “Ballistic.” It’s powered by a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from a late-model Shelby GT500.

The prevalence of the 2.3-liter four-cylinder-powered Ford Mustang EcoBoost at this year’s SEMA Show is perhaps surprising, but not at all unwelcome. We’ll be covering each of these six Ford-supported Mustang SEMA concept builds in-depth over the next few days, so stay tuned.
