Stitchcraft’s Loud-Orange Ford Mustang Concept: SEMA 2016

We’re just weeks away from the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and the folks over at Stitchcraft Interiors have revealed this: their custom, “Pearl Candy Orange” Ford Mustang concept.

This SEMA build is based on the 2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost convertible, and its bright, loud orange exterior paint is an instant attention-grabber. Stitchcraft has taken this custom hue and repeated it throughout the pony car’s interior, with matching trim pieces on the dash, center console, door handles, and elsewhere. Even the Katzkin leather seat upholstery wears bright orange stitching reminiscent of the car’s outer shell. An Alpine electronics system and Mono power amp further enhance the occupant experience.

Outside, this Ford Mustang convertible wears an HCM Sigala carbon-fiber body kit, Modern Image graphics, and a Classic Design Concepts light bar. Forgeline MT1 20-inch wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis rubber sit at all four corners.

Even after all that, Stitchcraft was sure to see to the pony car’s performance, as well, fitting an AFE intercooler, exhaust, and front and rear sway bars. The convertible is sprung by a RideTech Level 2 RidePro airbag suspension kit, and Wilwood calipers – six-piston front, four-piston rear – provide the stopping power. Most importantly, a twin-bottle NX Nitrous Express system has been fitted, allowing for bursts of terrifying acceleration.

Stitchcraft’s juicy Pearl Candy Orange Ford Mustang convertible will be on display at next month’s SEMA Show from November 1st through the 4th. Stay tuned for more news from the event.
