How To Install Power Stop Brakes On Your Ford F-150: Video

Towing, hauling, and off-roading are all part of the job description for the average Ford F-150. Unfortunately, they’re also tasks where the factory brakes can exceed their limits, fading with repeated, heavy use and offering less performance and control to the driver.

The Power Stop Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow brake kit promises to be the answer, featuring drilled and slotted rotors that are better able to keep their cool and mitigate dust buildup. The rotors are plated in silver zinc, too, for good rust resistance. The pads boast a high-performance carbon ceramic compound, and together, those new brake components can reportedly improve the stopping power on your Ford F-150 by up to 20 percent.

What’s more, if you can turn a wrench, you can likely install the Power Stop Z36 brake kit on the Ford F-150; just take a look at the simple install process in the video above. The kit even comes with new bleed screws, pins, rubber bushings, and grease so you can do it up proper.
