Ford Maverick trademark filing USPTO

FoMoCo produced a compact car called the Maverick from 1969 to 1977. The vehicle was manufactured in several points across North America, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil. Based on a rear-wheel drive platform related to the original Ford Falcon, the vehicle was marketed as an affordable two-door sedan (remember the days when there were sedans with two doors?).

Whether Ford plans to resurrect the Maverick name for a new model, a concept vehicle, or something else entirely is currently unknown. Be sure to following Ford Maverick news and general Ford news right here at Ford Authority.
