‘The Grand Tour’ Gets Ready For A Very Ford Christmas: Video

Amazon just released a trailer for the next episode of its new car series, The Grand Tour, which reveals that Clarkson, Hammond, and May will be celebrating Christmas at Kakslauttanen in Finland, within the Arctic Circle.

But that’s not important. What’s more important is how apparently Ford-centered the new Grand Tour episode is going to get, as the gang pits the all-new Ford Focus RS hot hatch against the Mustang pony car – an old toy as far as Americans are concerned, but still quite fresh for folks in the UK. Rather predictably, Richard Hammond is enamored with the Mustang, while Jeremy Clarkson champions the Focus RS.

On top of that, The Grand Tour‘s third presenter, James May, will apparently use the sixth episode of its inaugural season to retell the story of the Ford-vs.-Ferrari rivalry at the 24 Hours of Le Mans during the 1960s. In the trailer, you can even see a quick flash of May driving a vintage prototype Ferrari racer.

Sadly, there are zero Ford GT40s in the clip.

The next episode of The Grand Tour goes up on Amazon video this Friday, December 23rd. Be sure not to miss it.
