Ford CEO Mark Fields To Speak At Deutsche Bank Auto Industry Conference

Ford President and CEO Mark Fields is scheduled to speak at the 2017 Deutsche Bank Global Auto Industry Conference on January 10th, which – despite its name – takes place not in Germany, but in the good old USA.

Specifically, the conference will be held in Detroit, concurrent with the 2017 North American International Auto Show.

Mark Fields’ presentation will start at approximately 6:30pm EST, and an audio webcast and presentation materials will be made available at Ford’s shareholder webspace. After Mr. Fields’ presentation, he and other Ford executives will participate in a Q&A session for investors and analysts.

Mark Fields has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company since July 1st, 2014, succeeding Alan Mulally. Prior to that, he served as Ford President of the Americas from 2005, and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in December-2012. In the former role, he developed “The Way Forward” – a plan to streamline Ford’s North American operations by dropping unprofitable products, consolidating production lines, and revising the product development protocol.

Aaron Brzozowski is a writer and motoring enthusiast from Detroit with an affinity for '80s German steel. He is not active on the Twitter these days, but you may send him a courier pigeon.
