ICON BR No. 42 Ford Bronco Restomod Has Been Built: Video

We here at Ford Authority love the work done by California-based restomod shop ICON 4×4. Beside the fact that they take old, worn examples of the original Ford Bronco and turn them into plush, modern driving machines fit for today’s roads (and off-road trails, for that matter), what the company does in terms of high-quality, bespoke fabrication is nothing short of art.

Plus, ICON CEO and Lead Designer Jonathon Ward seems like one heck of a cool dude.

Mr. Ward can often be seen on-camera delivering a guided tour through his company’s latest completed Ford Bronco build. This week, it was the turn of ICON BR No. 42 – a fetching example shod in BMW Ionic Silver with a matte finish and tinted architectural glass. It’s powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8, giving this Ford Bronco restomod the efficiency, reliability, and serviceability of a modern powerplant, and as always, throughout the truck is a staggering number of custom touches, showing off a truly awesome attention to detail.

See for yourself in the ICON BR No. 42 video tour above.
