Ford this week pulled the wraps off of the redesigned Ford Expedition SUV, and forgetting all about its rich breadth of high-tech features, its new powertrain, and its lightweight aluminum-alloy body for a moment, we want to know: how do you feel about its styling?
The new Ford Expedition is only a tad larger than the outgoing model – several inches wider and longer, with a slightly lower roof – but not obviously so. The beltline also sits a bit higher, reducing the apparent surface area of the glass. Easily the most recognizable change, however, is the new grille, which is much more intricate, featuring a diamond-shaped pattern and a narrow, rectangular element that stretches beyond the outer boundaries on either side.
And while the Blue Oval has clearly taken pains to differentiate the new, 2018 Ford Expedition from the F-150 on which it’s based, the headlamps and taillights have been redesigned with a similar bracket shape.
