Watch A Classic Ford Mustang Race Car Tear Up The Track At Goodwood: Video

If you’re jonesing for some A+ driving in a vintage racing machine, worry not; we’ve got you covered.

Earlier today, Goodwood Road & Racing published the above video, which takes us aboard a classic Ford Mustang race car for a few laps around the Goodwood Circuit in the UK. Despite the steering wheel being on the wrong side of the car, it’s an excellent watch.

This Mustang race car was apparently once the property of Alan Mann Racing – a former British motor racing team with a long and storied history, and an iconic red-and-gold livery. Alan Mann Racing was a Ford factory racing team through the latter half of the 1960s – one that even ran a pair of Mk II Ford GT40s at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans, although neither car finished the race.

The 75th annual Goodwood Members’ Meeting is coming up from March 18th through the 19th, and the event will undoubtedly provide us with plenty more excellent driving videos for us Ford fans to gawk at. Stay tuned.
