The all-new, 2018 Ford Fiesta goes on sale in Europe later this spring, with a starting price of £12,715 in the UK – or about $15,600 in US dollars at the current exchange rate.
That’s for the base Ford Fiesta Style, with no optional extras; the higher-spec Zetec trim starts at £14,215 (roughly $17,400 US), while the top-shelf Vignale model will carry a base price of £19,345 (about $23,700 US). Ford Europe has yet to reveal pricing for the sporty-looking ST-Line model, the crossover-like Active trim, or the recently-revealed Ford Fiesta ST hot hatch, all of which will have later release dates than the aforementioned “regular” models.
As Motor1 reports, all new Ford Fiesta models – save for the Fiesta ST – will ship with a 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder by default, which comes in three power levels (dependent on trim): 99 hp, 123 hp, or 138 hp. An optional, 1.5-liter diesel four-cylinder will also be available, with either 84 or 118 horsepower, as will a 1.1-liter gas three-cylinder making either 69 or 84 horsepower.
Whether the all-new Ford Fiesta will arrive in the United States remains a mystery, as Ford shifts more of its focus away from small cars and toward SUVs and crossovers. Stay tuned.
