Over the weekend, Winding Road published its latest POV test drive, which featured the all-new, 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor and a few public roads with light nighttime traffic. If you find yourself wondering what the super-truck’s new, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 sounds like from the drivers seat, this is your chance to find out.

Plenty of other videos exist that give us some idea of what the F-150 Raptor sounds like outside of the cabin – like this one from YouTube channel 5.Ohhh Media, or this one from PickupTrucks.com. But the sound inside the cabin is an entirely different matter, and one that Winding Road is well-suited to address given their penchant for “binaural” audio recording. That’s a recording technique that accounts for the acoustic properties of the human head so that when played back through a decent set of stereo headphones, the audio sounds almost three-dimensional.

So plug your headphones into the jack, crank the volume, and enjoy a first-person experience of the all-new Ford F-150 Raptor in the video above.
