Art Center Graduate Crafts A Unique Ford Bronco Concept: Video

An Art Center Graduate by the name of Ki Hang Nam presented several of his unique automotive designs recently, including a bold new Ford Bronco concept that caters to surfers as its core target audience. Form Trends caught up with the design school graduate recently to talk about his ideas, which you can hear for yourself in the video above.

Ki Hang Nam’s Ford Bronco concept boasts a clean, orthogonal grille reminiscent in shape and proportionality to the one worn by Ford’s original off-road vehicle, and a pair of circular headlamps that are virtually invisible while not powered. Those are enclosed by a pair of paper-thin brackets that vaguely recall the current-generation Ford F-150. The back is much the same as the front, except for a nifty roof panel that tilts up slightly at the back so that surfers can slide their boards right into the cabin.

Granted, if you don’t much care for surfing (or futuristic, aseptic design), some of this Ford Bronco concept’s design features probably won’t appeal to you in the slightest. Still, there’s plenty left for any connoisseur of good, clean design to enjoy. Check it out.
