A summer-long collaboration between The Lincoln Motor Company and The Surf Lodge in Montauk, New York kicked off last weekend with music, live entertainment, and plenty of Lincoln Continental drives.
Montauk, if you’re not familiar, is a quiet little community in the town of East Hampton on Long Island. It’s a big tourist draw, and The Surf Lodge is a popular destination there.
As part of the season-long collaboration, the Lincoln Continental will be serving as the official vehicle of The Surf Lodge; guests will be able to use the Continental to explore Montauk during their stay. Guests will also be able to enjoy a custom Lincoln Suite at The Surf Lodge, inspired by the Yacht Club interior theme available on the all-new, 2018 Lincoln Navigator Black Label.
Ford’s Lincoln luxury brand is even sponsoring The Surf Lodge’s summer concert series.
As a matter of course, Lincoln Black Label customers will receive extra perks when visiting the Hamptons this summer, like a special dining experience, and VIP access to some concerts.
The Lincoln Motor Company’s collaboration with The Surf Lodge is just the latest example of the luxury brand’s strategy of hitching its cars to leisurely, luxurious experiences. It’s a clever means of directly reaching exactly the sort of well-heeled clientèle the company is hoping to attract to the brand, and delivering a pleasurable ownership experience that could turn many buyers into repeat customers.
