The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang made a special guest appearance in a new music video from British pop group Little Mix for a single entitled “Power”.
They picked a good car; the current-generation Shelby GT350 offers up to 526 horses’ worth of the stuff.
“Mustang is a car with true star quality and an in-built ability to turn heads,” says Ford Europe’s VP of Communications and Public Affairs, Greg Dawson. “We loved the idea that one of our Mustangs would appear in Little Mix’s new video and were only too happy to help.”
Little Mix was born out of the eighth season of The X Factor (UK), and is made up of Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. In the new music video, the all-girl group can be seen dancing and singing around a Ruby Red example of the current Shelby GT350. The lyrics to the new single don’t incorporate any references to the car, although puzzlingly, there is a reference to Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini.
“The Mustang was amazing! Sexy and cool with a beautiful interior,” says Little Mix. You won’t hear us disagree.
