Petty’s Garage Introduces A New, 670-HP ‘Warrior Edition’ Mustang For Servicemembers

Richard “The King” Petty and Petty’s Garage, in cooperation with Military AutoSource, have come up with a new, high-performance Ford Mustang model reserved exclusively for US military servicemembers stationed outside the United States.

The Petty’s Garage “Warrior Edition” Mustang is a custom, tuned pony car based on the V8-powered Ford Mustang GT, packing a 670-horsepower wallop thanks to a supercharged version of Ford’s factory 5.0-liter Coyote V8, and a MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust. It features a leather-trimmed interior with “Warrior” logos, Ford Performance lowering springs, a race-inspired rear spoiler, exclusive, autographed dash plaque, and more. It will be available only through Military AutoSource.

Richard “The King” Petty, the legendary former NASCAR driver, said that while his family “makes a living out of racing and high performance cars… none of that would be possible without the men and women who fight every day for our freedom. Our partnership with Military Autosource allows us to offer specialty-built Ford Mustangs to our men and women serving overseas. We feel confident they are going to enjoy them.”

Members of the US armed forces have their options when it comes to high-performance automobiles tailored exclusively to them; Roush Performance this year elected to continue offering its own “Warrior Edition” Ford Mustang through Military AutoSource. For 2017, that company also introduced a new, more understated “Scout Edition” Mustang for military servicemembers.
