For all the attention we’ve paid on this site to California-based company Icon 4×4 and its outstanding Ford Bronco restomods, there are other excellent contenders in that space – contenders like Velocity Restorations, which churns out immaculate, bespoke truck restorations from an 18,000-square-foot shop in Pensacola, Florida.
The 1974 Ford Bronco pictured above, wearing a 6-point roll cage and a striking factory paint color named “Brittany Blue”, is one of Velocity Restorations’ builds. It went to the Goodguys Nationals in Nashville last May, where it a fair bit of attention.
Apart from the brilliant paint job and the custom Velocity Restorations 6-point cage, this 1974 Ford Bronco also rocks the company’s own power steps, stainless fuel tank, mid-length headers, and bumpers, front and rear. Power comes courtesy of a Ford Performance 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine featuring a custom intake pine, allowing the Ford Bronco to put down 379 horsepower at the wheels.
