Vehicle customizers MS-RT and Carlex Design have paired up to create a custom, limited-edition Ford Ranger to pay tribute to one of the most successful motorcycle racers of our time: nine-time World Motorcycle Champion Valentino Rossi. It’s based on the T6 Ranger with 3.2-liter diesel five-cylinder, making 197 horsepower and 346 lb-ft, and packed with bespoke content inside and out.
Branded as the “VR|46”, this Ford Ranger is loaded with aesthetic changes including custom vinyl “VR|46” graphics, a bespoke front bumper and grille with Lazer LED full-beam assist lights and DRLs, matte-black tubular sports bar, MS-RT mud flaps, and 18-inch alloys finished in Graphite, wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain tires. The interior has been similarly altered, featuring a full Nappa leather interior with a VR|46 steering wheel, and stitched “VR|46” branding throughout. The drivers seat features 8-way power adjustability and heating.

Optional extras for this custom Ford Ranger tribute include an Off-Road Pack, with a Pedders suspension lift kit, roof-mounted LED bar, and off-road protection in the form of an MS-RT fuel tank protector and rubber floor mats front and rear. There is also an available “Style-X” intake snorkel to keep the 3.2-liter Duratorq engine from taking in excessive dust and water.
If you’re a fan of Valentino Rossi, the MS-RT VR|46 Ford Ranger is a cool and capable tribute to the motorcycle racer. For those who aren’t too keen on motorcycle racing, MS-RT offers a similar package for the T6 Ford Ranger without all the VR|46 branding and frills.
