As anyone from the greater Detroit area should well know, last weekend was the annual Woodward Dream Cruise – a gigantic gathering for car aficionados from all walks of life. At the past seventeen Dream Cruises, “Mustang Alley” has been a major pull, attracting hundreds of Ford Mustang fans and their cars to a stretch of East 9 Mile road in Ferndale, and allowing show-goers to experience essentially the full, illustrious history of the pony car in one place.

Mustang Alley returned to the Woodward Dream Cruise for the eighteenth year in 2017, just as big and beautiful as ever with 800+ diverse Ford Mustang examples congregating in one location. Ford Performance put together the little video recap above, capturing plenty of cars, and talking to some big names in the Ford Mustang community, like Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Mustang Chief Marketing Manager Mark Schaller.
